Beautiful Brides

I wanted to share some more photos of another bride who chose one of my gardenia clips for her wedding.  It is such a pleasure to get to have the flowers I made used on these special occasions.  Makes me want to make one hundred more!  These pictures are stunningly beautiful.  Please visit her photographer's site at www.ifongphotography.com.  Thanks so much Chelsea for allowing me to post and share these!

Another Beautiful Bride...

I just received this picture today of a bride wearing my beautiful sage green gardenia flower in her hair.  I love getting little gifts like this on Etsy.  Thanks so much!

Fresh Baked Ideas... Clay Cupcakes!

Every once in a while I get really bored of making the same flowers over and over or the same polymer clay stuff and decide to delve in to something else.  I love to cook and bake as well as decorate but oh, how tempting it is to taste everything.  Here's something my 4 year old daughter and I decided to make one day with some Hearty Clay and Claycraft clay and a little bit of glitter.  They are scrumptious to look at and have no calories! We had a blast making these!

Orchids Everywhere!

In Hawaii, we are so fortunate for such a wonderful gentle climate and lush vegetation all around us.  One thing thing I really love about here is the orchids and varieties of orchids everywhere.  I just finished up an order for Megan who wanted a single white orchid for her hair and several airbrushed dendrobiums for her bridesmaids.  Here's what we both came up with...

In addition to getting making orchids from clay, I thought I'd share a few pics that I took from Foster Botanical Gardens here in Honolulu.  The colors are just magnificent and breathtaking...

Simple Bouquets

I just received some lovely pictures of a bride up in Canada who wanted something small and simple for her bouquet.  She sent me these pictures of the bouquet in action...  I really love seeing my work being enjoyed by the brides that I make them for.  Makes me feel good inside!  Thanks so much Marie Claude and best wishes!

Marie Claude was looking for something with a lot of color and something to match her sage green sash and this is what we came up with for her wedding.

Gorgeous Gardenia Hair Flowers

If you asked me a year ago to make flowers from Claycraft by DECO, I'd probably laugh.  I never expected how much fun I would have using this clay to make all kinds of flowers and how addicting it is for me.  Here are a few of my latest creations using this wonderful product.  Above is a photo I received from a Laura Stephan, a beautiful bride who chose to use my flower on her special day.  Thanks so much for sending the gorgeous picture!

The new gadget that my sister convinced me to buy is a terrific 50mm Nikon lens and wow, check out the pictures I took with it!

This is a golden champagne color gardenia that I just finished the other day.

My favorite ivory pearl colored gardenia hair flower.
